We perform-Intrauterine insemination, Investigation for Infertility for both male and female patients,IVF and Embryo transfer,Blastocyst transfer, Embryo hatching, TESE, TESA, ICSI, Vitrification of embryo, sperm and egg, and other aspects of infertility.
Gynaecological services include Gynaecological USG, TVS, Hysteroscopy, Adolescent clinic and Menopausal clinic.
We also do PAP smear and injections for HPV vaccination. We have a Antenatal clinic where we cater Obstetric consultation, scan, investigation and monitoring for would be mom's. Apart from this we have a good Dietician consultation for weight related issues and medicine consultation for Diabetes, Thyroid problems etc.
Calcutta Cureline being a Day Care Unit does not perform Laparoscopic surgeries here as there is no provision for the patients to stay overnight. Fertility enhancing Laparoscopic surgeries are performed in nearby places.
It all depends on how the tubectomy is performed? Which part and how many cm of tube have been removed? The results are good if Isthmic part of the tubes were previously removed and less than 1 cm. Better results nowadays come with IVF as there is no issue of Tube with IVF as these are bypassed.
Hystetctomy is the last resort to salvage a patient from intractable bleeding (dysfunctional uterine bleeding) and of course any cancer of the organ, ie Uterus and cervix.
Fibroids are mostly asymptomatic, if they are big and multiple then there is a chance of excessive bleeding, which could be managed by medicines or surgery to remove fibroid or uterus.
PCOD comes with various symptoms and one of them is Excessive Hair fall. This is because of Androgen (male hormone) excess in the body.
